Edward and Louise Hennigan, Exeter, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6. They were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1969 by the Rev. John A. O’Haire at Sacred Heart Church, Plains.
Louise is the daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Yencha. Edward is the son of the late Edward Sr. and Selma Hennigan.
The couple has two children, Patricia Olmstead and her husband, Mark, Exeter; and Edward Hennigan III and his wife, Janine, Exeter.
The couple has two grandchildren, Paige Hennigan and Matthew Olmstead.
