WYOMING/WEST WYOMING — The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club announces it is launching a Hometown Heroes Banner Program in the communities of Wyoming and West Wyoming. This program will be a living tribute to recognize and honor residents and their family members currently serving in the military and veterans who have served in the US Armed Forces.

The banners will be displayed on street poles along Wyoming Avenue, Shoemaker Avenue and Eighth Street to celebrate and remind the community of the veterans’ dedication to our country.

The Hometown Hero Banners will be displayed from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. The banners will be sold at a cost of $225, which includes installation and removal. After the course of two (2) years, the banner will be removed and given to the service person or family member.
