PITSTON — Members of the parish community of St. John the Evangelist invites area first responders and their families to join them Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. to celebrate National First Responders Day.

First responders are invited to come in uniform and meet in the Msgr. John J. Bendik Pastoral Center (Seton Hall Auditorium) at 6:45 p.m. to line up for the entrance procession. There will be reserved seating in the front of the church for first responders and their families.

Members of the Altar and Rosary Society will host a reception following the liturgy in the pastoral center.

Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by Friday, Oct. 25 by calling the parish office at 570-654-0053.
