WEST WYOMING — The children and staff at The Cookie Corner recently participated in a fire safety program presented by the West Wyoming Hose Co. #1.

The firefighters demonstrated fire safety procedures and allowed the children to practice them. They dressed in full gear, making sure the children were comfortable going to them in case of an emergency.

Not only did the children and staff see how firefighting equipment works, they were able to get hands on experience with it. The program ended with a tour of the firetruck.
