A Taste of Greater Pittston
Join us for a delectable afternoon at the library. A Taste of Greater Pittston is a much anticipated event of the year featuring food, wine and beer from the best restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries and, of course, bakeries of Greater Pittston. The event takes place Sunday, Nov. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 each and offers you samples of food, wine and beer. Tickets are available at the Pittston Library. Contact the library if you would like an opportunity to showcase your food, wine, or beer or would like to be a sponsor.
WEST PITTSTON LIBRARY
Book Club
The Literary Snoops Book Club now meets at the West Pittston Library at 12:15 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for the discussion.
Kindergarten Readiness. Fridays, 1 p.m. Become a regular at this weekly early-literacy enhanced class designed to introduce children to the library, get them interested in books and develop the skills needed for school. Please register by Wednesday of each week. Oct. and 25.

Trunk or treat
The library is seeking community organizations to sponsor trunk-or-treat vehicles. Any interested organizations or individuals can call the library to sponsor a vehicle.
‘Poldark’ season five discussion
The library will hold a discussion group from 5 to 6 p.m. Mondays during the fifth season of “Poldark.”
