WYOMING — The first-ever Coffee with First Responders was held Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Isle of Coffee in the Midway Shopping Center. Members of the public came out to meet and chat with first police officers, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics from community departments, as well as the Pennsylvania State Police.
Brian and Evelyn Lyons, of Plymouth, came out to meet the first responders because Brian, who is autistic, is a big fan of firefighters. Brian was named a “junior fire chief” by Plymouth’s Elm Hill Hose Co. No. 3 back in July for raising nearly $14,000 by selling lemonade to purchase a jaws of life for the fire company.
