Challenge your taste buds and our best buds to guess the flavors of different Oreos. Get sweet bragging rights for guessing correctly, and then choose your favorite. This event is open to everyone, so bring family and friends.

Craft Night
Monday, Dec. 16, 6 p.m.
Join us for a combined craft night. Starting at 6 p.m., we will make felt embellished stockings. Then at 7 p.m., we will make a “gno-sew” gnome craft inspired by traditional Scandinavian tomte meant to bring good luck into your home for the holidays. Each class has a $5 charge that covers all materials.
“A Christmas Carol”
Thursday, Dec. 19, 6 p.m.
The West Pittston Library will present a live reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” again this year. Stay for light refreshment and a few carols to wrap up the night.
Table top games
Saturday, Dec. 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Spend a chilly afternoon trying out new games like Exploding Kittens, jump into a fun campaign of D&D, or dive deep into a nostalgic game of Sorry. Bring in your own games or meet up with other gaming enthusiasts.

“Home Alone” interactive movie

We’re eating junk and watching rubbish. Enjoy this holiday classic in an interactive way that includes all the props needed to participate.
Minecraft IRL
Wednesday, Dec. 18, 6:30 p.m.
Get outta the game and bring it into real life. Creeper toss and nerf gun targets, videos, 3D mushroom craft, pixel art, a hunt for elements and even bingo.
The Literary Snoops Book Club now meets at the West Pittston Library at 12:15 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for the discussion.
WYOMING FREE LIBRARY
‘Poldark’ season five discussion
The library will hold a discussion group from 5 to 6 p.m. Mondays during the fifth season of “Poldark.”
