Joe Walsh was recently presented the Kiwanis International Legion of Honor award in recognition of his 62 years as a member of Pittston Kiwanis Club. Walsh, who joined Pittston Kiwanis in 1957, has served as president and member of the board of directors. He was instrumental in establishing sponsorship of Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs in the Pittston Area School District, including K-Kids, Builders Club and Key Club.
