More honors rolled in for the Wyoming Area football team Thursday when Dominic DeLuca was selected Player of the Year and Randy Spencer was chosen Coach of the Year on the PA Football News Class 3A Coaches Select All-State team.
Wyoming Area lineman Sammy Solomon made the first team as a guard. Defensive end Derek Ambrosino was chosen to the second team.
DeLuca and Spencer received the same honors a week earlier by the Pennsylvania Football Writers. Solomon was also a PFW all-state selection.
A total of 246 coaches from across the state nominated and then voted on all-state teams in the six classifications.
