The Wyoming Seminary Upper School community recently took part in a Sack Hunger program, benefiting the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank. Sophomore student government members led the drive to collect funds and non-perishable food, through a one-day dress-down event. School community members were encouraged to fill sacks with non-perishable food items or contribute money to the drive. The students raised $600 and contributed 421 lbs. of food to the food bank. Seen at the conclusion of the drive are, from left: sophomores Benjamin Zhao, Mountain Top; Emily Aikens, Jenkins Township; Sophia Kruger, Shavertown; Cassidy Rhodes-Aniska, Kingston; and Jake Ruderman, West Pittston.
