PITTSTON — St. Joseph Marello Parish and St. John the Evangelist Parish will host renowned Catholic composer Dan Schutte for a performance at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 237 William St.
“An Evening with Dan Schutte” will feature many cherished hymns you are sure to recognize, including “Here I Am, Lord,” “Sing a New Song,” “City of God” and the popular “Mass of Christ the Savior.”
Schutte’s decades-long career has produced music that is an important part of so many liturgical celebrations, and still sung proudly to this day. He has contributed a lifetime of music, service, and prayer, and these experiences will be on display during what promises to be an inspiring evening. He will share with us the gift of his songs and the prayers and stories behind such beloved music.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and ushers will be on hand to help with seating concerns.
