PITTSTON — The annual Blue/Gold game between Pittston Area and Wyoming Area will be played at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 at the Revolution Ice Centre, 12 Old Boston Rd.
The winning team will take home the Skate Trophy, which was won by Pittston Area when it defeated Wyoming Area, 3-2.
Each year, this game is used to benefit a different charity associated with one of the schools. Proceeds this year will benefit Pittston Area School District students Christopher Gentner, ninth grade, and Aidan Wardell, sixth grade. Both boys are battling Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and are confined to power chairs.
Admission at the door is $3 for adults and $2 for students. There will also be a bake sale and basket raffle during the game.
