Caden Boettger finished his home course at Pittston Area in 16:28 for a 16-second victory in the boys race of a seven-team Wyoming Valley Conference cluster meet Wednesday.
Division 2 leader Lake-Lehman had three of the top five finishers while going 4-0 on the day.
Both Pittston Area teams went 2-1 while being scored against Dallas, Tunkhannock and Lake-Lehman.
Olivea Scalese and Bella Dessoye finished second and third, behind defending district champion Madison Hedglin from Dallas to lead the Pittston Area girls.
The Pittston Area boys finished the regular season 13-3.
The Patriots defeated Dallas 23-34 and Tunkhannock 16-47. They lost to Lake-Lehman 26-31.
Jake Mead placed 10th out of 46 finishers.
Cash Radle was 12th and Geno Canfield 13th.
Colby Walsh’s sixth-place finish led the way for Wyoming Area.
Wyoming Area fell to Dallas 19-36, Lake-Lehman 17-46 and Tunkhannock 23-33.
The Warriors finished 5-11.
Olivia Pantucci and Addison Ramirez finished 14th and 15th for the Pittston Area girls.
The Lady Patriots wrapped up a 14-2 conference season. They defeated Lake-Lehman 26-33 and Tunkhannock 18-45, but fell to Dallas 23-33.
Wyoming Area’s Hannah Stoss was fifth out of 45. Kierstyn Orlandini was 12th.
The Lady Warriors lost all three meets – to Dallas 19-42, Lake-Lehman 22-37 and Tunkhannock 28-30.
Wyoming Area finished 7-9.
The teams will compete next in Thursday’s Ed Narkiewicz/Wyoming Valley Conference Coaches Meet at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds in Meshoppen, which is also the site of the District 2 Cross Country Championships the following week.
