Valley View defeated host Wyoming Area 3-2 in a non-league boys tennis match Monday.
The Warriors finished 6-9 overall, falling short of a berth in the District 2 team tournament.
Players from Wyoming Area and winless Pittston Area will be back in action for District 2 singles tournament play Thursday.
