Maddy Mimnaugh’s two goals help Pittston Area seniors win All-Star Classic

KINGSTON — Pittston Area seniors Maddy Mimnaugh, Samantha Mayers and Tiffany Tubioli had a lot to do with the Gold team’s win at the Wyoming Valley Conference Girls Senior All-Star Classic held Wednesday night at Wyoming Seminary’s Nesbitt Memorial Stadium.

Mimnaugh scored a pair of goals in the first half, while Mayers chipped in with another in the second half. The Gold team took down the Red team, 7-4.

Also competing in the girls game were Red team members from Wyoming Area: Jordan Kelly Alee Pettit, Vicki Remley and Daniela Vigueras.

In the boys game, Red took a 4-3 penalty kicks win over the Gold. Wyoming Area’s Zach Lagrue, Ryan MurphyMichael Murphy and Sam Giordano each participated for the Red team. Pittston Area’s Nick Allardyce and Nick Tepak competed for the Gold team.
