Wyoming Area managed 15 shots against top-seeded Dunmore but had its girls soccer season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to the Lady Bucks Oct. 29 in a District 2 Class 2A quarterfinal.

Dunmore, which advanced to the district final and qualified for the state tournament, had a 21-15 lead in shots and scored twice in each half.

Aleah Kranson scored an unassisted goal for the Warriors with 12:12 remaining.

Caitlin Butchko made 15 saves in the loss.

Wyoming Area, which was seeded eighth, finished its season 9-8-1, including a 2-1 win over Meyers in the first round of the district tournament.
