Jaryn Polit-Moran rallied Wyoming Area into a tie.
Adam Buczynski and Justin Joseph took it from there.
Pins in the final three bouts Thursday night lifted Wyoming Area to a 42-30 victory over visiting Lackawanna Trail to make Jason Prokopchak a winner in his dual meet coaching debut.
The Warriors, who had a rough time in their tournament opener five days earlier, were tied 18-18 after the first eight bouts, which were limited to just 23 seconds of wrestling because of forfeits from each side.
After Wyoming Area took a 24-18 lead, Lackawanna Trail combined its only pin and a forfeit for a 30-24 advantage with three bouts left.
Polit-Moran forced the tie, Adam Buczynski gave the Warriors the lead and Joseph locked up the victory.
Polit-Moran took a 2-0 lead over Colin Mulhern into the second period at 170 pounds. He reversed Mulhern, then came up with the pin 48 seconds into the period to tie the team score.
Buczynski and Joseph made sure their bouts never reached the second period.
Buczynski built a 12-3 lead with the help of all four of the takedowns at 182, then finished Jacob Brim off with a pin in 1:22.
Joseph had three straight takedowns to begin the 195-pound bout and turned the third into a pin of Mark Debree in 1:43.
Damon Barhight had a 23-second pin at 285. Charlie Banashefski won in 3:18 at 145 pounds.
