Pittston Area’s Boccardi fourth, Norwillo fifth at indoor track meet

Pittston Area senior Arianna Boccardi finished fourth in the mile run Monday at Lehigh University in the Robert J. Burdette Indoor Classic track meet.

Boccardi ran a 5:28.93 to place fourth out of 20 entries.

She was one of three Pittston Area girls to compete in the meet.

Abby Norwillo was fifth out of 14 in the pole vault, clearing 11-6.

Jessica Tighe ran two sprints. She was 17th of 28 in the 60-meter dash in 8.73 seconds and 24th out of 36 in the 200 in 29.90.
