Seth White and Austin Alder each won one individual event and were part of a winning relay Tuesday when Wyoming Area lost to visiting Berwick, 92-54, in a Wyoming Valley Conference meet.
White won the 200-yard freestyle. Alder won the 100 freestyle.
The Warriors (0-8) won the 200 freestyle relay.
Ray Wills Invitational
Wyoming Area placed last out of 11 teams Feb. 3-4 in the Wills Invitational at Wyoming Valley West.
Wyoming Seminary edged Wyoming Valley West, 309-264 ½, for the team championship. The rest of the final standings were: Tunkhannock 188, Abington Heights 144, Scranton 121, Hazleton Area 108, Berwick 52, Hazleton Area 25 ½, Weatherly 19, Valley View 14 and Wyoming Area 2.
The Warriors scored their only points in 400-yard freestyle relay where they finished 12th of 16 relay teams (schools are allowed more than one entry).
Alex Chronowski, Seth White, Steve Dymond and Austin Alder formed the 12th-place relay team.
The week ahead
Wyoming Area completes its WVC schedule Tuesday at Holy Redeemer (3-4).
