Wyoming Area graduate Bree Bednarski was one of the players listed Saturday morning when USA Field Hockey extended its official invitations for the Young Women’s National Championship.
The YWNC is scheduled for June 12-16 at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster.
Bednarski will head into her sophomore season at the University of Michigan in the fall.
According to USA Field Hockey’s release, the YWNC “serves as a high-level, international structured competition which is a selection avenue to Junior National Camps and the Development Squad Camp.”
