DALLAS TWP. – Fox Hill members Tyler McGarry and Mariano Medico teamed to dominate the Potentate better-ball tournament at Irem Temple Country Club Aug. 4-6.
McGarry, a Pittston Area graduate who plays at Misericordia University, and Medico were the lower qualifiers, then won four rounds of match play without ever being behind. They closed out the championship with a 6-and-4 victory over Jonathan Wilson-Ryan Georgetti.
McGarry and Medico went 4-under while winning the final three holes to clinch the title.
