Cornhole Tournament is Jan. 28
JENKINS TWP. — The MVP Blue Jackets 2018 14-15u team will hold a Youth and Adult Cornhole tournament from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Susquehanna Brewing Company, 635 S. Main St.
This even features food, a 50/50. yeti cooler and basket raffles.
Teams consist of youth players ages 13-18 and adult players.
Cost to participate is $25 per youth team and $50 per adult team. Cost is an extra $10 signing up on the day of the tournament.

Avoca Dupont Little League meeting
AVOCA — The next monthly meeting for the Avoca Dupont Little League will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Avoca Borough building, Main Street. Among items to be discussed are planning for the spring season, as well as the regular league business.
All coaches are asked to attend the meeting. Anyone wishing to volunteer, as well as anyone generally interested in the league, is welcome to attend.
Avoca Dupont Little League registration
AVOCA — Online registration for the 2018 Avoca Dupont Little League season began Jan. 1 and runs through Feb. 28. Any player from last year may register for the coming season online at the league website: tshq.bluesombrero.com/adll.
Cost to register is $65 for one player and $80 for two or more players from the same family. Payment for online registration may be completed using a credit card or pay in person with cash or check. New players must register in person at one of the in-person registration dates.

AVOCA — In-person registration for the 2018 Avoca Dupont Little League season will be held Feb. 5, 6 and 7. Registration will continue from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday in February.

Little League sets fundraiser
AVOCA — The third annual Avoca Dupont Little League cash bingo fundraiser will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Queen of the Apostles Church Hall. The doors open at noon and games begin at 1 p.m.
There will be 15 regular games worth $100 each, three special games worth $150 each, and a coverall game worth $250. In addition, there will be a basket raffle and food available for purchase.
