Wyoming Area graduate Erica Gallagher scores first collegiate goal

Wyoming Area graduate Erica Gallagher moved right into the starting women’s soccer lineup as a freshman at Penn College in Williamsport.

Gallagher has started each game in the team’s 3-0 start and scored his first collegiate goal in her second game.

The college debut for Gallagher came close to home when she played all 101 minutes of a 2-1 overtime victory at King’s Aug. 31.

Gallagher scored the last of her team’s four first-half goals in a 6-0 win over Penn State-Abington Sept. 8.

Through three games, Gallagher has taken four shots and put three on goal. She has played 255 of a possible 281 minutes.
