KINGSTON – Wyoming Area’s Abby Gober played on the winning West team Nov. 25 when it defeated the East, 7-3, in the District 2 Field Hockey Senior Classic at Wyoming Valley West’s Spartan Stadium.
Gabby Wassel from Pittston Area was a member of the East team.
The event, organized by players McKayla Dolan from Holy Redeemer and Karaline Stelma from Wyoming Valley West, raised more than $2,000 for Valley with a Heart, an organization that assists ailing children.
