MOOSIC — The 16th annual Andy Ashby Game between the Pittston Area and Wyoming Area baseball teams will once again be played at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Class AAA baseball team.
The game is scheduled for Monday night at 7.
Ashby sponsors the game each year and presents a Most Valuable Player award. The former Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons pitcher went on to the pitch in the World Series for the San Diego Padres. He returned to the area following his playing career and resides in the Pittston Area School District.
