MANHEIM – Pittston Area’s Brennan Higgins hit the shot that completed a JB Hoops Callahan comeback for a 59-57 victory over the Middlesex Magic White in the Scranton-based AAU basketball team’s most recent tournament action July 13 in the Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster County.

Higgins hit a 3-pointer in the final minute to close the scoring in the come-from-behind win over the Massachusetts team.

A first-team Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 coaches all-star in the 2018-19 season, Higgins is preparing for his senior season by playing for the JB Hoops national tournament team for the first team. He is a guard, often taking care of the team’s ballhandling duties when on the floor.

The JB Hoops team is wrapping up its summer schedule this weekend by playing in an event in Philadelphia.
