Pittston Area will feature a young, but experienced team as it tries to bounce back from going winless in Wyoming Valley Conference Division I field hockey last season.

In her second season as head coach, Kate Connors could be looking to sophomores and freshmen at half or more of the positions at times.

“We have a young team with a lot of talent,” Connors said. “We’ll count on our seniors for leadership and experience.”

The Lady Patriots return eight starters, with the bulk of the experience up front and at midfield.
