Football banquet
The Pittston Area Football Booster Club will hold its annual football banquet Nov. 17 at the Woodlands Inn & Resort. Banquet invitations were handed out to varsity players after practice last week and freshman player invites were sent via mail. anyone who has not received an invitation form yet or has questions about the banquet is asked to email pafootballboosterclub@gmail.com.
Basketball camp
Registrations are being accepted for the Stan Waleski Black Friday Basketball Camp to be held for boys and girls in grades 2 through 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Greater Pittston YMCA. The camp stresses fundamentals, skills, competitions, team play and fun with all players receiving a camp t shirt and certificate.
