Yatesville Bocce League kicks of 2016 season

YATESVILLE — The 37th season of the Yatesville Bocce League kicked off Wednesday at the courts near Yatesville Municipal Park.

A moment of silence was held prior to the first ball for Ralph Campanella, Pat Chiumento and Londo Senti, league members who passed away in the past year. The league features seven new members in the past three years. The league is made up of nine, four-player teams.

In the opening week, it was Colarusso’s Restaurant who took a slight lead over Bassler Equipment and Lombardo’s Market.
