PITTSTON — Committee members of St. John the Evangelist 19th annual bazaar recently met to begin preparations for the event which will be held on Aug, 9, 10 and 11, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St. the grounds will open at 5:30 p.m. each night.
Featured entertainment includes Hillibilly D’Lux, Emerald Isle Irish Step Dancers, Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots, Pat Ward Magic Show and Flaxy Morgan. A variety of ethnic foods and baked goods will be available for purchase. Booths, raffles, children’s games, bingo and a huge indoor flea market will be presented in the auditorium.
