HUGHESTOWN — Pittston Area High School graduate and member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Penn State University Gianna Galli stopped by the Martin F. Quinn Primary Center to donate books to the classrooms.

Having the opportunity to be a part of Greek culture in college goes beyond making new friends, building connections and feeling a sense of belonging. Galli finds sharing experiences with those outside her sorority that allow her to uphold the philanthropic end of joining Kappa Kappa Gamma to be the most memorable and fulfilling.

Reading is Fundamental is KKG’s national philanthropic partner in which Galli and other girls in her sorority get the chance to spread the importance of literacy to younger children. Galli;s donation to the primary center contributes to her sorority’s mission to get children to read.
