It takes such a long time,
to feel temperatures to finally climb.
Feels good to finally turn down the heat,
and makes everyone feel upbeat.
there are so many changes,
in each yard and mountain ranges.
Dominant is the color green,
and everything looks as if it as a sheen.
Rains have washed away winter’s grit,
now there’s yard work to do, no time to sit.
Look above and see a nice blue sky,
it should be that way all the time, but we wonder why?
Some mysteries will always remain,
got to plant some flowers before comes the rain.
Summer will arrive pretty soon,
and people can come out in the evening and look at a clear moon.
The cold days are behind us now,
With some toiling to the sweat of their brow.
It’s a great time of year,
to get out, socialize, shop, listen to the birds,
they’re all back, I hear.
