Yatesville resident writes poem about the importance of having a job

Work

You have to start,

and must get that spark.

Get up early to start the day,

to be organized has much to say.

Sometimes a job could be a challenge, you bet,

or simplistic, but as monotonous as you can get.

Then there are occupations that require all of your strength,

and some that are so tiring, during an 8-hour length.

Besides making money, there are also some good points,

meeting people, working for one’s future, and eating out in nice joints.

Working a job keeps one out of trouble,

occupying oneself with a purpose, a future, always a daily double.
