Wintertime
As a person looks out at a beautiful sunrise,
even though it’s still early, there’s going to be blue skies.
Although very frigid, I’m afraid it is still winter,

roads good, or as a carpenter would say, “smooth, no splinter.”
It’s so peaceful outside,
boy! What a day for a ride.
Yep! the temps are far from warm,
but at least we haven’t had a really big snow storm.
The mountains have a light white covering on them to see,
always looking majestic for you and me.
Meteorlogically speaking, they say winter is half over,
but shiver me timbers, I can’t wait to see spring and clover.
Today we can visualize winter and its allure,
all it takes is a fast look just out the door.
