WEST PITTSTON — Wyoming Area Class of 2026 graduated 135 seniors under ideal weather conditions for the 60th annual commencement at Anthony “Jake” Sobeski Stadium on Friday evening.

Graduating seniors processed on the stadium track at 7 p.m. to “Pomp and Circumstance,” performed by the Wyoming Area Secondary Center Choral Concert Band, before taking to the football field for the last time as Warriors.

The Class of 2026 President Max Getzie gave his final speech as a graduating senior, followed by salutatorian Loc Bui-Pham and valedictorian Brian Malet.

“The Unwritten Stories,” the class poem, was written and delivered by graduating senior Macie Yaworski.

“The Climb,” written by Miley Cyrus, was chosen as the class song and performed by the Class of 2026’s Chyenne Stevenson.

Philip Campenni, Wyoming Area board president, and Greg Riley, Secondary Center principal, offered remarks.
