YATESVILLE — Pittston Area School District Mathcounts students finished in third place in Keystone Northeast Chapter’s Mathcounts competition Feb. 11 at Wyoming Valley West Middle School.
Students competed against 18 other schools from across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Student John Florio placed in the top 10 individually among the over 180 students in the competition.
The Mathcounts team is coached by Dr. Susann Savelli-Keska.
