AVOCA —VFW Auxiliary Post 8335 will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, June 5 at the Post Home, 915 Main St.
Hostesses for the meeting will be Sharon Linko and President June Fitzgerald.
Plans will be finalized for the upcoming bingo and ice cream social that will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 at Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Donations, prizes and gifts for the event can be dropped off at the post home until 5 p.m. the day of the event.
Members will leave the post at 5 p.m. and transportation will be provided for anyone planning to go.
