AVOCA — The Northeast High School Class of 1965 held a “70th Birthday Bash” on Saturday, June 3 at Colarusso’s Café.
Among those in attendance were Class President Damian Lokuta, of New Jersey, and Vice-President John Williams, of Florida.
Although separated in two different locations — commercial students in Hughestown Borough and scademic students in Duryea Borough — the graduating class tries to remain connected by holding reunions and/or events like the birthday bash.
Everyone who attended spent an enjoyable afternoon renewing old friendships.
