PITTSTON — Committee members of St. John the Evangelist’s 18th annual bazaar recently met to begin preparations for the event, which will be held from Thursday, Aug. 10 through Saturday, Aug. 12 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston.
Featured entertainment includes Hillbilly D’Lux, Emerald Isle Irish Step Dancers, Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots, Pat Ward Magic Show and Flaxy Morgan.
A variety of ethnic foods and baked goods will be available for purchase. Booths, raffles, children’s games, bingo and a huge flea market will be presented in the auditorium.
