EXETER —Wyoming Area Catholic School announces the following dates and events upon returning for the 2017-2018 school year.
School calendar
The first week of school, all days are early dismissal at 11 a.m. from Monday, Aug. 28 to Friday, Sept. 1. There is no school on Monday, Sept. 4 for the Labor Day holiday.
Cougar Cash
Regular Cougar Cash Orders begin Monday, Aug. 28, the first day of school.
Library book donation
Books may be donated to the school library to commemorate a special event such as a birth of a child, a special anniversary or birthday or to acknowledge a special achievement.
Books may also be donated in memory of a special relative or friend. A memorial such as this is a lasting one to pay tribute to that person.

TEACHER & CLASS INFORMATION
Fourth grade
Fourth-grade students will switch between their homeroom teacher, Mr. James Renfer, and the fifth-grade homeroom teacher, Mrs. Toomey.
Mr. Renfer will teach Religion, Science, English and Reading, while Mrs. Toomey will teach Social Studies and Math.
Fifth grade
Fifth-grade students will switch between their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Toomey and the fourth-grade homeroom teacher, Mr. Renfer
Mrs Toomey will teach Social Studies, Math, English and Reading, while Mr. Renfer will teach Religion and Science.
Sixth, seventh and eighth grades
The junior high classes will have the following teachers: Mrs. Toni Griseto for Religion and regular Math, Miss Ali Baur for Science and Social Studies, Mrs. Ann Marie Walsh for English, Literature, Vocabulary and Spelling, Mrs. Maureen Conlon for all accelerated Math classes.
School uniforms
School dress code for all students at Wyoming Area Catholic School may be found in the Diocese of Scranton Elementary School Student-Parent Handbook. Uniforms may be purchased at Flynn & O’Hara Uniforms, Sunshine Market, 1492 Route 315 Highway Wilkes-Barre.

Family Liturgy
Family Liturgy will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 in the school auditorium. All parents, families and friends are invited to celebrate the beginning of the 2017-2018 School Year.
Father Paul McDonnell, O.S.J. will be the celebrant.
