EXETER — Janet M. Serino, superintendent of the Wyoming Area School District, announces that there will be early dismissals on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17 due to parent conferences and report card distribution.
As per district policy, parent/guardians must pick up report cards — No report cards will be sent home with students.
Elementary teachers will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 and 12:55 to 3:35 p.m. Nov. 17 and Secondary Center teachers will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 and from 11:35 a.m. to 2:29 p.m. Nov. 17.
No prior appointment is necessary on that day.
The above schedule for parent conferences and report card distribution is for all schools (Kindergarten Center, Primary Center, Intermediate Center and Secondary Center) in the school district.
All parents are encouraged to meet with their child’s teacher(s) on these days.

All schools in the Wyoming Area School District will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 10.
All schools in the Wyoming Area School District will be dismissed early for the Thanksgiving holiday on Wednesday, Nov. 22. School will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Veterans Day program
The Wyoming Area School District will hold a Veterans Day program on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Secondary Center.
All veterans are welcome to attend.
Luncheon begins at noon with a special school program to follow. Veterans are also invited to attend the Gino Merli play beginning at 10 a.m.
