HUGHESTOWN — Hughestown Park and Recreation Committee will hold a tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 at the borough building, 42 Center St.
The community is invited to attend and everyone is encouraged to bring an ornament to place on the tree for the Christmas season. The children from the Pittston Area Primary Center will be making ornaments to hang on the tree as well.
Hot drinks will be served afterwards in the pavilion and there will be a special visit from Santa Claus.
