PITTSTON TWP. — State police at Wyoming are investigating a burglary at Advanced Arms LLC, a firearms dealer on South Township Boulevard, known as the Pittston By-Pass.
Multiple firearms were stolen from the store, state police said.
State police said multiple people forced their way inside the store at about 11:30 p.m. Monday and sped away in a light colored sport utility vehicle.
A board covered a shattered front window at the store.
Owners Chris and Mary Scoda could not be immediately reached for comment.
A message on the store’s website stated: “Due to unforeseen circumstances and vandalism, we will be closed for a few days for repairs. We anticipate reopening before the week expires. Our apology for any inconvenience and your patience would be greatly appreciated.”
A similar message was heard when a reporter called the store Tuesday.
