Alexus Dunn named to the Dean’s List at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus
MADISON, N.J. — Alexus Dunn, of Pittston, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus, located in Madison, N.J., has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
Emerson College Student Chloe Brennan of Inkerman, PA Earns Dean’s List Honors for Spring 2022 Semester
BOSTON, Mass. — Chloe Brennan, of Inkerman, earned Dean’s List honors for the Spring 2022 semester at Emerson College.
The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.
Brennan is majoring in Creative Writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2024.
Bloomsburg University Student-Athletes Recognized for Academic Work
BLOOMSBURG — A record number of 157 Bloomsburg University Student-Athletes received the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award.
The award was earned by the following local students:
• Cole Coolbaugh, from Wyoming, a member of the school’s Baseball Team
• Meghan Corridoni, from Exeter, a member of the school’s Women’s Basketball Team
The D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, in its 15th year of existence, is given to student-athletes who have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2021-22 academic year and has attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college-level classes.
Morgan Mesaris from Pittston Earns D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award
MANSFIELD — Morgan Mesaris, from Pittston, a member of the Softball Team, was one of 37 Mansfield University student-athletes who earned the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award for their dedication in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
In total, there were a record-breaking 16,639 student-athletes from 169 institutions recognized for the 2021-22 Academic Achievement Awards. This is the most student-athletes being recognized since the inception of the award’s program. For the fourth consecutive year, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) has the largest number of student-athlete honorees with 1,709 total, closely followed by the Sunshine State Conference with 1,306 and Northeast 10 Conference (NE10) with 1,285.
Requirements for student-athletes to earn the Academic Achievement Award include:
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
• Minimum of two years (four semesters) of college-level work
• Active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year
