WEST PITTSTON — Most of the day, parents, students and administration worried about the rain, but Wyoming Area Superintendent Dr. Jon Pollard wasn’t worried at all. By the time of graduation, the rain stopped and the sun appeared.

Just on queue, at 7 p.m., “Pomp and Circumstance” played, and 186 students were on their way to receiving their diplomas at Anthony “Jake” Sobeski Field.

Savino “Sonny” Sabatini addressed the audience with the class president’s speech.

“Hello” was the class poem written and recited by Grace Kohl.
