A slight chance of snow showers is expected through Friday night, but sunshine will return for the weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 30 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, along with a slight chance of snow showers. Today’s high will be near 35.

Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with a slight chance of snow showers before 9 p.m. The low will be around 15.

Mostly cloudy skies will wrap up the week on Friday, with a high near 26.

Friday night will once again bring a slight chance of snow showers, along with partly cloudy skies. The low will be around 14.

Mostly sunny skies will return on Saturday, with a high near 26. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday night, with a low around 17.

Cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a slight chance of snow. The high will be near 34.

Those mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a 30 percent chance of snow. The low will be around 26.
