Adult Coloring is March 6
PITTSTON — Adult Coloring Class will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 6.
Free blood pressure screenings will be done at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7 by Golden Living.
The candy making activity will be held Monday, March 13.
A St. Patrick’s Day Special Lunch and Celebration will be held Friday, March 17.
March birthdays will be celebrated with a special lunch at 11:45 a.m. Friday, March 24.
An afternoon tea party will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 27.
Membership dues for 2017 are now being accepted. Suggested donation is $5. Members are asked to supply any changes to their information.
Line dancing classes with Sue are held at 10 a.m. every Monday. Exercise classes with Catherine and Ruth are held at 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sandi offers chair exercise classes at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and at 9 a.m. Thursdays.
There is no charge for these classes.
Ceramic Class with Ann is held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Bingo with Ron and Amy is held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays and also from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Shuffleboard matches are held at 10 a.m. Wednesdays where the men challenge the women. Helen Shannon is the captain. Craft class with Faye is held at 10 a.m. Thursdays. Wii Bowling with John is also offered.

Book Club meets March 6
EXETER TWP. — Book club meets from 10:30 t0 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 6 to discuss “Boys in Trees” by Carly Simon.
A class on how to make origami frogs will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 6.
Lunch & Learn will be held at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, March 9 with Cheryl McGovern, RN from the Department of Health for a presentation on “Oral Health for Older Adults.”
Free blood pressure screenings will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 10.
The center will close at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14.

A special workshop entitled “Transforming Your Health Naturally” will be from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 21 with Donna LaBar, Certified Integrative Health Coach, Author and Speaker. RSVP by Friday, March 17.
Lunch & Learn will be held at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, March 23 with Mary Reeves, LSW, Admissions Director from the Gardens, on the topic “Not Just Salads for Seniors.”
ST. JOSEPH SENIOR SOCIAL CLUB
Setting of St. Joseph’s Table is March 15
PITTSTON — The club will honor and celebrate the sixth annual setting of the St. Joseph’s Table at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 in St. Joseph Marello Parish Center.
This is open to the public as a hot buffet luncheon catered by Arcaro & Genell will be served at a price of $15 per person. Reservations are accepted by calling Rose Marie Amico, chairperson, at 570-654-0046 by Monday, March 6.
Members and attendees should bring a food item to be placed on the altar. All food items, as is the custom, will be distributed to people in need through the Pittston City Food Pantry at St. John the Evangelist Parish. Anyone wishing to have an item blessed may place it on the altar.
