Excelsior Hose Co #2 of Duryea holds dedication of new ladder truck

The Excelsior Hose Co #2 of Duryea had an official dedication of its new 2018 Ferrara Ladder truck on Oct. 13. This is the first time in the company’s history it has had a ladder truck designed for by the members. Representative Mike Carroll, Congressman Matt Cartwright and Senator John Blake were on hand to present a $150,000 casino grant to go toward the purchase. Fr Gary Mensinger of St Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church officiated the blessing.
