Stephen Sokach-Minnick accepted a scholarship from the West Pittston Cherry Blossom Scholarship Committee on May 23. This scholarship is given to someone who needs the help to prepare them for the future with a college education. Sokach-Minnick has been part of the West Pittston Cherry Blossom since he was a little boy, donating his time with Scoutmaster Patrick Messina, Troop 302, behind the food stand preparing the food and also cleaning up after the festival.
