HUGHESTOWN — The PALS (prevent ALS) of Jimmy Duffy will hold 10 tenth annual fundraiser at noon Saturday, Aug. 31 at 219 Rock St. The public is invited.
Relatives and friends of the late Jimmy Duffy will gather for the 10 year to remember this beloved family member and good friend. Duffy passed away in 2009 after a courageous battle from ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease at the age of 67.
The cost of the event is $20 for adults and children over 12 years of age. Price includes drinks, food, desserts and games. There will be a basket raffle. Proceeds will benefit the ALS Association.
